1844 Bradley retired from Bradley, Welch and Hall and was replaced by John Joseph Bramah who joined William Barrows and Joseph Hall and the company name became Bramah, Barrows, and Hall.
1846 Accepted contract to supply 1,500 tons of the 8,000 tons of iron plate needed for Robert Stephenson's Menai Straits bridge[1].
1846 John Joseph Bramah died; Barrows and Hall purchased his share from his estate.
Presumably at this time the company became Barrows and Hall
