English instrument maker, the son of Jonathan Sisson, also an instrument maker.

Photographs show Sisson's equatorial sextant telescope at Milan Museum of Science and Technology, made in 1774 for Brera Observatory (Osservatorio Astronomico di Brera di Milano). In the background is a mural quadrant made by Jesse Ramsden in 1789.
