1915 Company founded as British Aeroplane Varnish Company Ltd.
1918 Name changed to Titanine Ltd
1924 Acquired British Emaillite Co Ltd; name changed to Titanine-Emaillite Ltd[1]. Some shares were held by International Paint and Compositions Co[2]
1936 Public company Titanine Ltd founded to acquire Titanine-Emaillite Ltd, then in voluntary liquidation[3].
1937 Aeroplane dope manufacturers. "Emaillite" Dopes. "Lumilac" Synthetic Lacquers. "Titanine" Dopes.

1961 Manufacturers of dope, varnish and other compositions for aircraft finishes. 198 employees. [4]
1963 Motor Show exhibitor. Cellulose and synthetic finishes.
