1856 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, James Apperly and David Apperly, as Cloth Manufacturers, at Dudbridge Mills, near Stroud, in the county of Gloucester, has been this day dissolved by mutual consent.'

1895 Limited company formed. Directors are: A. Apperly, C. Curtis, E. Apperly, C. Apperly and W. Clissold.

1910 'In 1794 the firm of Apperley, Curtis and Co., was founded: and now such has been its continued success that recently it celebrated the erection and opening of extensive new mills'

1926 Apperley Curtis Co., Ltd., woollen cloth manufacturers, of Dudbridge. close down for a week, affecting about 170 employees.
