Michael Alexander Hunter Christie (1918- )

1918 Born Barnt Green, son of Alexander John Christie, J.P. of Twatling.

Educated at Malvern College, Worcs.

1937 Articled to N. Lea and Son, Stock Brokers, Birmingham.

WWII Sergeant Pilot R.A.F.V.R., commissioned R.A.F. 1940, Director M.A.P. Film Unit, 1944.

1945 Sales Director, Christie-Tyler, transport seating manufacturers.

Took up Motor Racing.

1949 Founded Plexeal Ltd.

By 1959 Chairman and Managing Director, Alexander Engineering Co., Ltd.; [[Michael Christie Motors[[, Ltd., Bicester Road, Aylesbury; The Thame Engineering Co. (Oxon). Ltd.; Lotus Sales, Haddenham, Bucks; and Alexander Engineering (Marine), Ltd., Haddenham, Bucks.
