1957 Company renamed; it would become an independent subsidiary to handle all of Cossor's activities in radar and electronics and almost all of the contract work for Government[1]
1959 Moved to Harlow. The component division was transferred to the company from the parent and moved from Highbury to Harlow.[2]
1960 The concentration on government and aviation markets was of concern to management. The company had made substantial losses on a government contract which had been won in a competitive tender based on fixed prices even though it included significant development work[3]
1962 Won a contract for "Windfinding" radar sets for the UK Meteorological Office network.[4]
Name changed to [{Cossor Electronics]]
1965 Formation of marine division, based in London to market marine equipment made by Cossor and by Raytheon[5]
1968 Cossor Electronics supplier of visual display units made at Harlow for Honeywell computers, made in Scotland[6]
1972 Cossor Electronics won a Queens Award for its surveillance radar[7]
