William Eden Highfield (1880-1938) of Highfield and Roger Smith

c.1880 Born son of Samuel Highfield, brother of John Somerville Highfield

1911 Electrical engineer, living in Altrincham with his brother Frederick[1]

c1924 Co-inventer with John Earnshaw Calverley of the high voltage transverter which was demonstrated at the Empire Exhibition at Wembley in 1924.
