The business of James Swinburne

c.1890 The company manufactured open circuit transformers, watt meters, etc

1892 Crystal Palace Electrical Exhibition. DC meters. [1]

1896 The company was wound up[2] (it is assumed this is the same company}; an agreement had been made with the Nalder and Harrison Syndicate, Limited, for the sale of the goodwill, patents, etc.
