1964 This and other Mercury companies were acquired by Dennis Brothers[2]
1970 Order from the Ministry of Technology for ground-handling air tugs for use by the RAF based on a design developed with the Ministry of Defence[3]
Dennis was acquired by Hestair which sold Mercury to Marshalls (Halifax) in 1972
Marshalls presumably combined Mercury with Reliance (Trucks) to form Reliance-Mercury
