1895 Born Wick

Educated at Wick and Glasgow.

Became an apprentice with the Commercial Bank of Scotland and rose to be Branch Accountant.

WWI Active Service.

1928 Joined Dunlop's as trainee

Became Sales Secretary, Birmingham.

Became District Manager, Glasgow.

Became Regional Manager, Scotland (Tyre Division).

1946 appointed Director of the newly formed Dunlop Rubber Co. (Scotland) Ltd.
