1890s Acquisitions in Burton, Hinckley and Coventry expanded the estate.
1896 J. Marston and Son was incorporated[1]
1898 J. Marston and Son Ltd amalgamated with John Thompson and Son Ltd and moved to Albion Brewery to form J. Marston, Thompson and Son Ltd
1905 Amalgamated with Sydney Evershed to become Marston, Thompson & Evershed.

2007 Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries changed its name to Marstons plc. Acquired Eldridge Pope and Ringwood Brewery Ltd.
2008 Acquired Ryland Thompson Ltd
