1861 Patent application by Henry Cater, of the Grove Steam Boiler Works, in the borough of Southwark, Steam Boiler Manufacturer, in respect of the invention of "improvements in the construction of steam boilers."[2]
1878 Henry Cater died at Park Road, Southend, 30th June, age 81[3]
