c.1830 Born in Manchester son of James Fletcher and his wife Sarah

1871 Thomas Fletcher 40, Gas meter manufacturer, employing 36 men and 14 boys, lived in Heaton Norris with Sarah Fletcher 7, Emma Fletcher 5[1]

1874 Married Eliza Dewhurst in Chorley[2]

1880 of the Garratt Street Works, Oldham Road, lived in Harphurhey, Manchester when he died[3]
