Note: This is a sub-section of Metropolitan-Vickers

Metropolitan-Vickers produced steam turbines and gearboxes for merchant and naval vessels, both for propulsion and for electricity generation.

After the second world war they produced marine propulsion gas turbines and gearboxes.

Combined steam and gas turbines were developed for naval propulsion.

Production of all types continued under AEI.
