Lawaczeck-Heymann Balancing System

This was a system to facilitate dynamic balancing of rotating machinery, invented by Franz Lawaczeck of Halle-on-the-Salle and Hans Heymann of Darmstadt. Patented in USA 5 June 1923 (filed 22 December 1917). US patent (pdf) here. More information here.

The machine made by the Carl Schenck Co, was described in The Engineer in 1922[1]
