1989 This consisted of GEC's activities in semiconductors, power devices, micro-systems, microwave devices, electronic valves and tubes, electronic test and measurement systems, automatic test equipment, simulators and computer-aided design equipment.[1] Hence it included businesses that were previously described under Industrial Products as well as businesses in GEC Light Industrial Products and Marconi Electronic Devices, EEV.
