1969 Company formed as branch of US parent (not sure about the source of this)

1987 The name of Dynacast International was changed to Dynacast Ltd

1990s Major production facility in Singapore.

1993 Queen's Award for Export for diecastings and diecasting machines^[2]

1994 Acquired a US precision plastic moulding company^[3]

1995 Acquired Bace Manufacturing of US, which traded as SPM, to give "critical mass" in high precision plastics moulding^[4]. Acquired Technicor of Northampton, a die caster^[5]

1996 The name of Dynacast Ltd was changed to Dynacast (Alcester) Ltd

1998 The name of Dynacast (Alcester) Ltd was changed to Dynacast (UK) Ltd

1999 Buyout of Dynacast International group of companies from Coats Viyella

1999 The company was sold to Cinven^[6]

2005 Cinven sold Dynacast to Melrose; the company specialized in diecasting alloys^[7]

2011 Melrose sold Dynacast^[8]
