Iron founders
1847 Advert: 'TO IRONFOUNDERS, &c. TO LET,
And entered upon immediately,
The old-established premises called the EAGLE FOUNDRY, situate in Roushill,in the town of Shresbury and late in the occupation of Mr. John Carwright, where there has been an extensive trade carried on for a number of years. The above premises are roomy, and may be worked to a great advantage, a foundry being badly wanted in Shrewsbury, the above offers an opportunity seldom to be met with : there is an excellent nine-horse-power steam engine on the premises, with some other machinery.
To treat for the same, apply to Mr. F. H. Lowe, Wharfinger.'[1]
