William Money
William Money (died 1796)
He was Captain of several East Indiamen and later a Director of the East India Company.
1764 He Met Robert Wigram on the Admiral Watson on a voyage from London to India. They became close friends and business partners.
1785 Elected to the Corporation of Trinity House.
William named one of his sons Wigram. Wigram named one of his sons Money.
1796 of Walthamstow[1]. Appears to have died in Bath; he also owned property in Carmarthen and Ireland.
William's son, William Taylor Money, was also a Director of the East India Company and an MP.
