1915 Married Minnie Tully a well-known motorcyclist and mechanic who was the daughter of Cornelius Brittiffe Tully, a gas engineer. Two sons Reginald Pascoe Sydney Grenfell (died 1941 age 20) and Francis were both killed in WW2.
Worked for Lancia, Rolls-Royce, Michelin, Firestone and Hispano-Suiza
ca.1937 Opened his own business at Brooklands as J. Granville Grenfell
1939 Living at No 2 Bungalow, Brooklands Aerodrome, Weybridge. Engineer designers production manager. With Minnie Grenfell (born 1893), Expert Motor Drivers Mechanic and with John P. Grenfell (born 1918).[1]
ca.1955 Built the Grenfell Special 500 car
