Oak Tree Appliances

Oak Tree Appliances were based in Coventry, England and produced a tractor called the OTA.
- The OTA was introduced in 1949 at the Smithfield Show.
- The OTA was a popular small tractor as it allowed for plenty of manoeuvrability and it was claimed it had a twelve foot turning circle.
- It featured a Ford 10 HP engine, and a double reduction gearbox with six forward ratios and two reverse, and was able to reach a top speed of up to 13.4mph.
- The demand for a more powerful tractor resulted in a larger model called the Monarch being introduced in 1951.
- The Monarch couldn't compete with other tractors on the market in price or performance and in 1953 Oak Tree Appliances was taken over by Singer.
