1869 riHE Interest of Robert Brown Tennent in theJL Copartnery of STRATHERN, MURRAY, &COMPANY, Engineers and Boiler Makers at CoatbankEngine and Boiler Works, Coatbridge, of which he andAlexander Morton Strathern and Richard Murray werethe sole Partners, Ceased, as on the 1st day of September1868, the date of the said Robert Brown Tennent'sinsolvency. The business has since said date been carried on, andwill continue to be carried on under said Firm ofSTRATHERN, MURRAY, & COMPANY, by the Subscribers,the said Alexander Morton Strathern and RichardMurray, on their own account, and who have right tothe whole assets of the Company, and will pay the debtsthereof.

1871 Alexander Morton Strathern, retired from the copartnery of STRATHERN, MURRAY, & PATERSON, Engineers and Boiler Makers at Coatbank, Coatbridge; the other partners were Richard Murray and Jno. Paterson[1]
