1926 'KEIGHLEY DIRECIOR MARRIED. The wedding took place, at Riddlesden Church, Keighley, yesterday of Mr. Percy Leslie Crabtree, only son of Mr. and Mrs. James Crabtree, of Browmead, Riddlesden, and Miss Audrey Grayson Mann, only daughter of Mr. B. W. Mann, of Woodbine Cottage, Keighley. The bridegroom is a director of the firm of D. Mitchell and Co. Ltd., machine tool makers. Central Ironworks, Keighley.'[4]
1937 'KEIGHLEY DIRECTOR'S DEATH. Mr. James Crabtree, of Browmead, Riddlesden, Keighley, who has died at the age of 71, was managing director of D. Mitchell and Co., Ltd., machine tool makers, Parson Street, Keighley. Formerly he represented the machine tool section on the Keighley committee of the Engineering Employers’ Federation, and he was president of Keighley Association of Engineers for about three years during the War period. A Freemason, Mr. Crabtree was Past Master of the Scientific Lodge, Bingley. He leaves a widow, a son and a daughter.'[5]
