1928. 22nd May. Major Chater-Lea and R. Hopkins in a 350 cc Chater-Lea motorcycle sidecar combination break several endurance records including 8-hours.[1]

1928. 24th May. Kaye Don (Sunbeam) sets new class record including the flying kilometre at over 136 mph.[2][3]
