1908 Challenge. 'Mr. Clement Hobson, very well known amateur driver, has purchased one of the Grand Prix Brasiers, and last week issued sporting challenge to match for £6OO a side with any other Grand Prix (59.6 R.A.C. rating) car.'[1]
