Overton Bridge
A bridge across the River Dee, south of Wrexham
Built in 1814 by Thomas Penson the younger, completing the work of his father, who was dismissed after the collapse of his first design for a single-arched bridge on this site, itself replacing an earlier structure.
A red sandstone ashlar bridge with 2 high segmental arches divided be knelled cutwaters at each side.
1994 Listed Grade II
