Elder Mill, Romiley
Elder Mill was a cotton spinning mill in Romiley, Stockport, Greater Manchester.
It was taken over by the Lancashire Cotton Corporation in the 1930s and passed to Courtaulds in 1964.

The mill was re-equipped in 1907, and closed in 1964.
Power was supplied by a 600 hp vertical compound Wheelock-type engine by Daniel Adamson and Co. 105 rpm. Flywheel was 16 ft dia. Photographed by George Watkins in 1937.
