Lee, Stroyer and Co
Lee Stroyer was a British petrol engine manufacturing company and a producer of a limited number of cars.
1903 Founded in 63 East Street, Coventry by Henry Pelham Lee in partnership with a Dane called Rudolph Stroyer.
1905 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, carrying on business as Motor Oar Manufacturers, at East Street Works, in the city of Coventry, under the style or firm of "Lee, Stroyer, and Company," has been dissolved by mutual consent...H. Pelham Lee and R. N. Stroyer'[1]
1905 Stroyer left the company and Lee relocated to Paynes Lane, and at the same time formed the company Coventry Simplex Engines
