1958 Hughes of Exeter Ltd was incorporated as a private company

1974 Manufactured about 2.5 million doors a year. They utilised the hiring of 22 Barlow Myers Hyster lift trucks, effecting a substantial financial saving.

Acquired by Meyer International

1983 Name changed to Fordrive Ltd

1989 Acquired by Norcros

1989 Company renamed Crosby Doors Ltd

1990 Renamed Crosby Sarek, registered office in Swindon

1994 Norcros sold the company to Spring Ram Corporation[1]

1996 Renamed Crosby Ltd
