1890 Richard Stanfield, of Edinburgh, and Thomas Clarkson gained a Canadian patent on "Method and apparatus for sizing and separating ores, etc". With Peter Strickland gained a Spanish patent in a similar area of technology.
1891 Thomas Clarkson became Engineer to the company.
1897 The Company's Patents were sold to the Clarkson-Stanfield Ore Reduction Co, Limited, and the company was wound up voluntarily[1]
1899 The Clarkson-Stanfield Ore Reduction Co Ltd was wound up[2]
