1850s Company established by James Hinks

1865 Developed the Duplex burner for petroleum based lamps.

1873 The company was registered on 25 April, to acquire the business of the firm same, lamp manufacturers. [1]

1888 The company was re-registered.

1905 James Hinks died and the business continued under his son Joseph Hinks.

1906 The company was re-registered.

WWI Made mess tins, grenades and parts for shells.

c1920 Business taken over by Falk, Stadelmann and Co.
