With his mother Anness Elizabeth Thornton (age 76 born London), Widow. Also his brother William Mundell Thornton (age 41 born Liverpool), Professor of Electrician Engineering. Also his nephews Brian Mundell Thornton (age 11 born Liverpool) and Horace Thornton (age 10 born Ovingham-on-Tyne).[1]
