1923 The Scapa Flow Salvage and Shipbreaking Company Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £7,000. It was a local initiative to secure some of the salvage work offered by the scuttling of the German High Seas Fleet in the Orkney anchorage of Scapa Flow.
1928 By now the company's name had changed to Robertsons (Lerwick) Limited, the name it bore for the rest of its existence.[1]
2020 The company, long dormant, was dissolved.[2]
