1949 Marshall and Anderson Limited was established in connection with a scheme for the amalgamation of the Broomside Boiler Works Co Ltd, and Alexander Anderson and Sons Limited, to acquire and hold the entire issued share capital of the companies (or not less than 90% of the issued share capital of the companies), the capital of which was £300,000.[1]

1961 Manufacturers of boilers, fusion welded boiler drums, flanged boiler material, fabricated structures, corrugated boiler furnaces, X-Ray examination of welded structures. [2]

1968 Joint venture formed with Ideal-Standard to make and sell high pressure and low pressure steel boilers.[3]

1977 The company went into receivership.[4]
