1926 'Douglas Seaton, Managing Director of the British Dominions Car Co. Ltd. Yeovil, on high right, arriving at the Mansion House on February 17th to visit The Lord Mayor of London in the Seaton-Petter Car which was manufactured at Yeovil'[1]
1929 '£20,000 GARAGE SCHEME.— The site in Clarence-street, on which Messrs. Petter's foundry formerly stood, has been acquired with a view to the erection of a garage with a capacity for 100 cars at a cost of £20,000. The scheme is being undertaken in conjunction with a West End firm, and the new garage will be conducted under the name of Douglas Seaton, Ltd.'[2]
