'... the Partnership trade and business heretofore carried on by us the undersigned, at Manchester, in the County of Lancaster, as Silk and Cotton-Manufacturers, under the firm of Thomas and Isaac Crewdson, was dissolved on the 1st of the 5th month, called May now instant, so far as relates to the undersigned Thomas Crewdson and Isaac Crewdson.— All debts due to or owing from the said concern to be paid and received by the undersigned Joseph Crewdson and John Worthington...'[1]
