1966 A hydraulically powered crane capable of lifting one ton was introduced; it was based on a well-known farm tractor having excellent service facilities throughout the world.[1]
1966 Exhibited the TICO K.100E, a 2.5-ton-capacity hydraulic truck crane.[2]
1969 Introduced a hand-powered hydraulic crane with a maximum capacity of 1 ton, called the Tico Mini Crane; it could be supplied as a trolley-mounted unit for mounting on a lorry, or with a floor mounting.[3]
1976 Colchester Tillage was the distributor of the Swedish Tico hydraulic truck cranes in the UK; capacities ranging from 1,150kg (2,5201b) at 2.13 (7ft) boom length to 5,080kg at 2m (6ft 7in) boom length.[4]
1987 For over 25 years AB TICO of Sweden have marketed their range of lorry mounted cranes in the U.K. through Colchester Tillage Limited. To improve their distribution and service network TICO have appointed 6 new sales and service centres throughout the U.K. Each of these centres has factory trained personnel backed by substantial stocks of current spare parts to give the end user a wider and more efficient network. Colchester Tillage Limited will continue to maintain a large national spares stock backup.[5]
