1958 Playtex, the British subsidiary of the International Latex Corporation of America, which makes women's foundation garments and baby's wear in two factories on the industrial estate at Port Glasgow. Harry Bader, the American-born manager of the Playtex factory'[1]

1961 Factory extended at Port Glasgow. Will be 85,000 sq ft total.[2]

1991 Acquired by Sara Lee Corporation

1999 'John Dixey, managing director of Playtex, which licences Wonderbra'[3]
