1875 The partnership between Thomas Appleby and Robert Ropner, of West Hartlepool, merchants, ship brokers, and steam boat owners, under the style or firm of Appleby, Ropner, and Co, was dissolved by mutual consent. Thomas Appleby was to carry on business at the Commercial Buildings, West Hartlepool, under the style or firm of Thomas Appleby and Co.[1]
