'...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, William James Pennington and Harold Hill Day, carrying on business as Manufacturing Engineers and Brass and Iron Founders, at the Lound Foundry, Kendal, in the county of Westmorland, under the style or firm of Pennington and Day, has been dissolved, by mutual consent, as on and from the 1st day of July, 18SO. All debts due to or owing by the late firm will be received and paid by the said Harold Hill Day, by whom the said business will be continued...'[1]
