Wade Works, near Northwich

May be the same as Wallerscote works (part of Brunner, Mond and Co, or ICI General Chemicals) which was constructed on a site across the river from Winnington Works 1923 (on land purchased from Lord Barrymore 1912). Started up in 1926.[1]

1948 ICI Alkali Ltd: Ethylene pipeline, Wade works to Witon (sic); a file concerned the Weaver Navigation.[2]
