1909 Incorporated as a limited company. The Reynolds family seem to have lost contact with the company at this point.
1914 Manufacturers of chronometers and nautical instruments; adjusters of iron ship's compasses. Specialities: compasses, sextants, lamps, charts, books, sounding machines, "Palinurus", "Odometer" and "Pendant" patent logs, "Volta" azimuth mirror and compass, "Reynold's patent pole compass, binoculars, telescopes etc. [1]
1930s The firm was in financial difficulties; John Wilson Gillie arranged a merger with his firm, John Lilley and Son[2]
