1952 Durable Plastics Ltd was incorporated, manufacturer of mouldings in various plastics

1962 Plastic Coatings Ltd of Guildford was a manufacturer and applier of plastic coatings.

1969 Public offering of shares in the company

1976 Imperial Group reorganised its plastics activities; both Plastic Coatings Ltd and Creators group of companies became part of Plascoat International Ltd

1980 Name of Plastic Coatings Ltd was changed to Plascoat U.K. Ltd

1982 Acquired by Australian Consolidated Industries

By 1994 was a subsidiary of BTR plc
