1947 50th AGM. T. W. Badgery is Chairman. 'The Public Benefit Boot Co. Ltd. was incorporated on May 5, 1897, and traded under that name until its alteration to Benefit Footwear Limited, last year. When the company was formed, the original founders were amongst the pioneers of multiple , trade in footwear.'[3]
