Ridley Shaw and Co of Middlesbrough were light engineers and locomotive builders

1899-1913 Around six locomotives built

1927 'A fire which broke out on Friday at the workshops of Messrs. Ridley, Shaw and Co, Ltd., general engineers and repairers, in Louisa Street, North Ormesby, did considerable damage to a wooden and corrugated iron building and electrical stores.'[1]
