1794 Born in Park Bridge, son of Samuel and Hannah Lees[1]

1841 Samuel Lees 45, iron roller maker, lived in Ashton under Lyne with Martha Lees 45, John Lees 14, Samuel Lees 9, Edward Lees 7, Mary Lees 71 [2]

1851 Samuel Lees 56, iron and roller maker, employing 216 men and 91 boys, farmer of 20 acres, 2 labourers, lived in Ashton under Lyne with John Lees 23, iron and roller maker, employer, Mary Lees 21, Samuel Lees 19, apprentice in the same business, Edward Lees 17 apprentice in the same business[3]

1861 Samuel Lees 66, proprietor of land and houses, lived in Southport with Ann S Lees 50[4]

1871 Samuel Lees 76, iron manufacturer, lived in Southport with Ann S Lees 60[5]

1873 Died in Southport, iron and roller maker[6]
