1946 Patent on "Means for cooling material carried upon a band conveyor" invented by Alan Thurburn Scott.

1966 Sandvik U.K. was formed by the merger of 2 British subsidiaries of the Swedish company: Sandvik Swedish Steels and Sandvik Steel Band Conveyors[1]
