'...from the 30th day of June 1894 I Robert Bruce Goldsworthy have retired from the business of an Emery Manufacturer theretofore carried on by me under the style or firm of Thos. Goldsworthy and Sons at the Britannia Emery Mills Hulme Hall-road Manchester and that as from the above date the said business will be carried on by Frank Heywood and George Mouat in copartnership under the same style or firm of Thomas Goldsworthy and Sons...'[1]
