1902 The business was incorporated as Charles Massey and Son Limited[1]

1920 The company became part of British Glues and Chemicals, whose object was to acquire a number of similar businesses with the object of co-ordinating, developing, and extending their undertakings. To this end the existing company went into voluntary liquidation to allow the registration of a new company under the same name.[2]
