William Robertson Cooper

Not to be confused with William Ranson Cooper who died in 1926

c.1885 Born in Workington.

1901 Engine maker's apprentice, living with his parents in Jarrow[1]

1918 William Leonard Robertson Cooper, an electrical engineer, married Winifred Twynam in Coatham[2]

1921 Associate member IEE, lived in Middlesbrough

1922 An engineer of Coatham, on baptism of their child, Dorothy[3]

1930 William Robertson Cooper advertised as 'W. R. Cooper, AMIEE, Chartered Electrical Engineer for everything electrical and wireless. 20a Queen Street, Redcar.'[4]

Another member of IEE with these initials was W. Roylands Cooper
